Founder of Bradley & Company. A finance leader who has owned the P&L, built and sold a business, and now helps owners understand what their numbers mean.
I'm a Certified Management Accountant with 20+ years in financial leadership, and much of that time was spent as an owner, not an advisor.
I started in executive HR and moved into financial and operational consulting. In 2008 I joined a group of investors that bought into Angel's Instrumentation, a Chesapeake, Virginia calibration laboratory serving the naval and maritime industries. As co-owner and President, I helped rebuild its operations and finances and added an instrument manufacturing business. Together the two businesses reached about $25M in revenue and about 100 employees before we sold them separately, the calibration laboratory to Transcat (Nasdaq: TRNS) in 2018.
As President I directed strategy, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and the P&L, while my partner Danny Angel led relationships in the Norfolk shipbuilding and dry-dock community. I remained President in an advisory capacity through the transition until 2023.
That gives me something most finance leaders don't have: I understand financial management from the owner's chair.
I also led a four-person international accounting team at Sustain Agility Solutions, working under IFRS on FP&A for a renewable energy transition program with the Government of Malaysia.
Through Bradley & Company, I bring that owner's perspective, and a CFO reporting and forecasting platform I built, to small and mid-sized businesses. The reports arrive on time and the numbers tie out. Then we work through what they mean for the next 30 to 90 days, because that is the part an owner actually needs.
Based in Indianapolis, working with construction, manufacturing, food manufacturing, and professional services companies nationally.
We don't just produce reports. We tell you what they mean.
